New Hospital Brings Hope and Healing to Ngomamtimba
A new hospital dedicated to providing life-saving care to the poor and underserved was officially blessed today, marking a moment of profound significance for the region and a lasting tribute to compassion in action.
The hospital, built in memory of Dino Marrajeni, a passionate advocate for peace and charity, was made possible through the generosity of his wife, Mrs. Marrajeni, who resides in Rome, Italy. Her vision to honor her late husband’s legacy has given rise to a center of healing and hope for the most vulnerable.
“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God” (Matthew 5:9), quoted P. Theodore Kalaw, CRM, during the blessing ceremony. “This hospital stands as a living testament to Dino’s mission to serve the poor and to bring hope to the world. May his soul rest in peace, and may all who walk these halls remember that it was love and faith that made this place possible.”
The project, which will provide essential medical services to the community, reflects a collaborative effort. P. Kalaw acknowledged His Excellency, Bishop Flavian, for his foresight and pastoral leadership, as well as the crucial contributions of Fr. Jean Claude, Fr. Juliene, and Fathers John Baptiste, John Lui, and Laurianus, whose tireless work transformed the vision into reality.
A Place Where Lives Will Flourish
“This is more than just bricks and mortar—it’s a sanctuary of healing where life will flourish, healing will be offered, and peace will reign,” P. Kalaw noted. The hospital embodies the mission of the Clerics Regular Minor (Adorno Fathers) to serve others for the greater glory of God. He reminded all present of St. Paul’s words: “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Beyond its physical presence, the hospital represents a transformative opportunity for the entire community. Access to quality care will mean healthier lives, stronger families, and hope for a brighter future.
A Call to Action: Be Part of the Mission
This project stands as a powerful reminder that generosity has the potential to change lives. Contributions from people like Mrs. Marrajeni help create spaces where healing and hope become tangible realities. The Adorno Fathers invite all who share a heart for service and compassion to become part of their mission.
By supporting projects like this hospital, benefactors can uplift the health and dignity of the most vulnerable, making God's kingdom of love visible to all. Whether through donations, partnerships, or prayers, every act of generosity can be a light for those in need.
“Thank you for making our founders proud. May God bless you abundantly, sustain you with His grace, and inspire your hearts to continue this sacred work,” P. Kalaw concluded.
